As we approach the festive season, I'm sure your thoughts are turning to...a quiz night in February? Well, probably not, but our annual quiz and curry evening is always a sell out (and lots of fun!) so we thought we'd get the tickets on sale early.
Make your own team of six (preferred) or eight (absolute max) and come along for an evening of fun, food, laughs and a light hearted quiz. If you don't have a team of your own but would like to join, we will match you up with others to make a team.
This event WILL sell out, so please don't delay in booking your tickets! If you book them before Christmas it'll be one less thing to worry about in the New Year. Tickets can ONLY be purchased on line here. All proceeds go directly into improving Loxwood Youth FC.

This is a big undertaking and getting it right for 180+ children is huge job, so please bear with me - this is the first year we've done this at scale!

Our supplier has continued to push out dates for some of this kit, which is really disappointing. On their behalf apologies for the delay. We will review our supplier relationships for next season to see if we can improve this situation

If you have NOT received kit and registered before Oct 25 then please speak your age group coach / admin? A fair amount of kit is still available for coaches to be distribute to their age group.

Age 9-10 and Age 11- 12 shorts are now due in to our supplier on November 19, so to me (and then to coaches) shortly thereafter. Age 13-14 shorts have been further delayed to "early December".
Apologies for the delay; completely out of my hands and apparently our supplier. Adidas has delayed shipping a couple of times.

The kit orders relating to registrations from Sept 17 to Oct 25 are now with our supplier. Hopefully next couple of weeks to arrive, assuming good supply from Adidas

All shirts and and tracksuits have been delivered for children registered by September 16th. Please ask your age group coach if you have not yet received it.
134 pairs of socks have been delivered but are not as ordered, so am resolving with supplier. Hopeful to have this completed in the next week (two at the outside).

What Is The Kit?
If you ordered the "standard" registration you will receive a LYFC shirt, personalised with your child's surname and a squad number; LYFC short and socks. Squad numbers are assigned by the age group coach.
If you ordered the "tracksuit only" registration you will receive a LYFC tracksuit (top and pants) personalised with your child's initials on both top and pants.
If you ordered the "premium" registration you will receive both the LYFC shirt, shorts and socks and the tracksuit.
How Will I Get The Kit?
Kit is distributed to age group coaches who will provide to players in their team(s)
When Will The Kit Arrive?
Kit is being ordered from our suppliers on your behalf in "waves". Depending on when you register, this will inform which wave your kit is in.
Wave 1 - Registrations on or before August 11
Wave 2 - Registrations from August 11 - August 19
Wave 3 - Registrations from August 20 - September 16
Wave 4 - Registrations from September 17 - October 25
Wave 5 - Registrations from October 26 - December 6
Wave 6 - Registrations from December 6 - ???

Can I Return The Kit?
All personalised kit is non-returnable for obvious reasons.
If shorts don't fit then recommendation is to try and swap with someone in your age group. If that's not possible, please return them to your age group coach who will them bring them to me and we will swap with the supplier. Please ensure all tags are left intact.
Socks are difficult to try on and then return so please look at the sizing on the packet and if you want to swap, then use same methodology - try and swap locally, if not, return via coach or administrator. Adidas socks are generally on the small side.

This is a time intensive process and I'm in danger of turning into a cut-price Mike Ashley (if that's even possible!) so please bear with me as the volume of kit increases and the complexity of ensuring everyone gets the right size with their name on it (spelt correctly!)

We are privileged to be able to play at a number of grounds in the local area and the Kirdford Recreation Ground hosts the largest number of players each weekend. We are lucky to be able to provide tea, coffee and toilet facilities to children and parents as well as visiting teams. We share the ground and the pavilion with other users and it is our responsibility to leave the pavilion in a clean and tidy state. Below is the guidance from the Kirdford Rec Committee on how we should tidy and leave the pavilion each weekend. Feedback is welcome and any comments you make here will be shared with the Rec Committee.
Getting Ready for New Season...
It’s coming! 2019/20 is upon us. Lots of new equipment being prepared for the season ahead. Only high quality gear for LYFC.
Our club is run by volunteers. All of us are parents of children who play in the club and are able to help with coaching, team administration, pitch marking etc. We ALWAYS need more volunteers and to help incentivise more permanent volunteers, and to recognise the commitment they make, we are now offering FREE registration for volunteers!
In recognition of the hard work and time that volunteers provide in support of the club, recognised volunteers are permitted to register up to one child (from their direct family) at no cost (base subscription). Maximum of one free child per family (regardless of the number of volunteers)
Volunteers in scope of this policy are:
- Active coaches with up to date FA Coaching, First Aid and CRB check. Max two per team.
- Active administrator for each age group. Max one per age group.
- Child welfare officer. Max two per club
- Charter standard officer. Max one per club
- Marketing and comms officer. Max one per club
- Chairman. Max one per club
- Secretary. Max one per club
- Treasurer. Max one per club
All eligible volunteers must be active members of the club, participating in club events such as committee meetings, fundraising, club-wide events (Coaches' Cup, Christmas Cup) etc
