The summer is winding down and we're gearing up for a fantastic season ahead at LYFC!  Several of the age groups have already started back in training and friendly matches and the majority of teams will be commencing from tomorrow, Saturday September 1. 

​The program for each age group is different, so please check out the  Latest News for each team, via the Latest News button on each team's page (see below).

We have a vibrant and active community at LYFC with around 130 boys and girls playing football each weekend.  We welcome new participants of all standards and abilities; the major requirement is to get involved and have fun!  Please contact us for more information - we look forward to seeing you at a try out session in the near future!

If you have got this far, you have found our all-new website, we hope you like it!  The aim of the new website is to give you more up-to-date information about the goings-on at Loxwood Youth FC and to share match reports, photos and stories from around the grounds.  If you have photos you'd like to post on the website ask your coach or age group administrator or send them to us directly at [email protected] and we will put them on the site for you.

We have also introduced on-line registration and payments - no more filling in soggy paper forms * and trying to find your cheque book at the back of the kitchen drawer!  Hopefully you find the new approach easier, but we welcome comments here to help improve it more.  

PS you can still fill in a paper form and send us a cheque if you'd really like to :)

Loxwood Youth FC sponsored and ran the "beat the goalie" competition at the Loxwood Primary School Summer Fair.  The event was very well attended and our club goalies were busy from the start of the fair until closing!  Thanks to Neo Kourpas, Joe Bonney and Hamish Ramsay for their time and effort.

​Our end of season club tournament - the Coaches' Cup - was a resounding success with almost 100 children from U7s to U14s taking part.  As per tradition, we played mixed age group teams in junior and senior competitions across four pitches.  Due to the timing there was a strong World Cup theme with teams named after competing countries.  The weather was amazing and children and parents seemed to thoroughly enjoy the event. 

After the Loxwood Youth football was concluded we returned to the clubhouse to watch England v Panama on the giant screen, accompanied by refreshments and BBQ.  The 6-1 victory was the icing on the cake of a fantastic day and will live long in the memory of those who attended.

Thanks to everyone who participated, bought raffle tickets and helped the day be a success.  A special thank you to the volunteers who helped run the tuck shop, the BBQ and countless other activities on the day.
