Kit and Registration FAQ
Please note that playing kit is not included in the registration fee. This can be ordered via the head coach of your team.
FAQs
Q – Registration - Is the registration fee going up this year?
A – No. As long as you register before July 1 2024, the registration fee is being held at the same level for the fifth season in a row. There will be a fee increase from July 1 of £15. Our football has never been better value!
Q – Registration - I have more than one child that would like to join the club. Do I need to pay the full fee for each?
A – No! There is a 50% sibling discount for your second (and subsequent) children. Simply register your oldest child at the full rate and then use the appropriate discount code on the registration page for each of the other children. Q – Kit – what should I order for matchday kit?
A – Matchday kit includes home shirt, shorts and socks all available to order.
Q – Kit – do I need to order an away kit?
A – We have full squad sets of away shirts held by our coaches for most of our age groups so it is recommended that you check in with the coach for the age group before ordering away shirts. Note that the shorts and socks are the same for both home and away kits.
Q – Kit – my child is a goalkeeper – do you have kit for this position?
A – Yes.
Q – Kit – does my child need to wear shin pads?
A – Yes this is mandatory for playing in the South Surrey Youth Football League. These are not available through GR Teamwear but they are widely available online or from most sports shops.
Q – Kit - What number should I ask for on the shirt when ordering.
A – The coach in your age group will allocate the numbers for the squad to be used on a matchday.
Q – Kit - Can I have my child’s name on the back of the shirt?
A – Although we have done this previously it adds to the cost so we are not proposing to do this for this season.
