Chelsea Tournament 2018

17/9/2018

Well 13th May, 2017 was a fabulous day out for everyone.
Polly Gould had seen the opportunity for a 'once in a lifetime' experience to play in a tournament at the premier league winner's ground, Stamford Bridge. After LOTS of organising, we entered 2 teams and took virtually the whole squad and what an experience it was for our boys to play on the 'hallowed turf' at Chelsea's ground.
The experience involved playing on the pitch, and visiting the changing rooms with exclusive access to see the stars of today get prepared for their big premier league and champions' league matches.
Both teams played around 5 games against some high quality opposition including Chesterfield's academy and 'Style Soccer'. There were some quality players out there but our boys maintained their energy and effort to the end !!!
The afternoon finished with all the players receiving their medals from the day.
What a fantastic experience !! and HUGE thanks once again for Polly Gould for organising this.

I have been a Chelsea fan since I was 10 years old, I still remember the way Chelsea played against Manchester United in that Champions League final in 2008. Their playstyle ignited my love for them. Since then, I have been a die-hard Chelsea fan. I hope our current Head Coach Frank Lampard leads the team to victories. The article has really gotten my interest. I am going to bookmark your blog and keep checking for new details every week.
